In this project, we have created 10 possible curriculums for high school level students to enjoy and do. These curriculums are activities that include cultural aspects as well as involve STEM/STEAM. Creating activities that are fun for high school students, by making them think and work in the garden, or contemplate about farm to table is the overarching goal of this project. This project is important to the community because it incorperates sustainability practices through reducing, reusing, recycling, repairing and rotting with farming and farm to table lifestyle.

H.O.P.E. Gardens is a non profit organization that centers around addressing injustices around the city of Wyoming. Its main goal is to “help other people eat”, hence the name HOPE. It was founded in 2015 with the focus of growing the community. This garden focuses on implementing gardening practices into lower income school systems to teach children about the importance of fresh fruit and vegetables, in season and culturally diverse ingredients.
Our theme is the 5 R's. Refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle, and rot. We have come up with various activities based off of The 5 R's that are centered around agriculture.
