H.O.P.E. Gardens is a new community partner to the Environmental and Sustainability Studies Program. This organization uses gardening educational programming to help the community of Wyoming, Michigan eat healthy, while providing STEM learning components to students via their own school garden. The project for this class, taught by Professor Crystal Scott-Tunstall, is to help H.O.P.E Gardens expand their program offerings through the use of learning activity curriculum as an environmental sustainability interpretation tool. This tool of interpretation will be used as a prototype, sharing curriculum ideas with the organization.
