Class Description
Drawing I is an art III level studio course. In Drawing I students will learn basic drawing techniques, observational drawing skills, grid drawing, discuss composition, perspective choice, and reference the elements and principles of design. Students will create projects from ideas derived through the study of various cultures and art movements. Students will study different media throughout the year and complete final projects in each media. Some media may include: Graphite Pencil, Compressed or Vine Charcoal, White Chalk, Colored Pencil, Pen and India Ink, and Oil Pastel.
Prerequisite: Art II and/or teacher recommendation. $30 Course Fee

About me
This is my third year teaching at Comeaux High and my 9th year teaching in the public school. I have a bachelors in Visual Arts with a concentration in Ceramic Sculpture. I also love to draw, design and create props and backgrounds and just make. Check out my teacher bio page to see my artwork. I am certified to teach Art Ed K-12 and the Talented Art Program.
