On Monday 11th November, we came together in a moving Remembrance Service to honour those who gave everything so we might live in peace and freedom. Standing united in silence, we remembered the courage and sacrifice of men and women—many of them not much older than our students—who faced unimaginable hardships with unwavering bravery.
To our students, I encourage you to let their legacy inspire you. Their sacrifice grants you the freedom to pursue your dreams; may you honour it by leading lives of kindness, respect, and purpose. To our staff, thank you for nurturing these values in our students and for carrying forward the torch of remembrance in your daily work.
As we reflect on this day, let us hold in our hearts a renewed commitment to live with gratitude, to stand up for what is right, and to build a future that honours the sacrifices of those who came before us.

Upholding Our Core Virtues: From Respect to Integrity
At our school, we are proud to continue embedding the core virtues of Respect and Integrity into every aspect of our community.
Last half term, we focused on Respect, encouraging students to show consideration and kindness in their words and actions. This remains a cornerstone of our ethos as we carry this important value forward.
This half term, we are embracing the value of Integrity—instilling the importance of honesty, responsibility, and strong moral principles in all areas of life. We aim to inspire our students to make choices that reflect these values, both in and outside the classroom.
Aligned with this mission, this week’s assemblies focus on the theme: "Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe." These principles guide our collective efforts to create a positive, supportive, and safe environment for all.
We sincerely appreciate the ongoing support from parents and carers as we work together to help students live out these values every day. 🌟

Lordswood Boys’ School Stands Firmly Against Bullying
At Lordswood Boys’ School, we are committed to creating a culture of respect, kindness, and inclusivity. During Anti-Bullying Week, our focus was on educating students about empathy and their role in building a supportive community. In Literacy Time, the boys had insightful discussions on mutual respect and were reminded of the support systems available to them. In a show of unity and individuality, everyone wore odd socks on Tuesday!
Together, we are dedicated to fostering a positive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
