For Delegates and Chairs !
In delegates, advisors or parents have any questions regarding the registration process, please visit our Q&A section or reach out to our Secretary General at jio.yoon@lfseoul.org.
DEADLINE : December 12, 2025
One of the founding objectives of LFSMUN has always been its accessibility. Whether you are a first-timer or a well-experienced delegate, you are equally welcome to take part in the fruitful debates of our conference.
LFSMUN is open for all students from grades 9 to 12 with a sufficient level of English (B2 or above) as they should feel comfortable enough to debate in English. Moreover, we encourage students who take particular interest in or wish to enter the world of geopolitics and diplomacy to join the conference. Thus, students wishing to improve their logical skills as well as their public speaking or debating abilities are more than welcome to participate in the conference and work together to gain more knowledge about our society and the global challenges it faces.
There are no other requirements nor participation fees. However, Delegates are expected to know the main procedures of LFSMUN and to have a minimum of knowledge about their issue by reading through the published Chair reports or through personal research. Additionally, it is strongly recommended to prepare in advance an opening speech for your assigned country, as well as a draft resolution with at least two operative clauses (there is no maximum). For more details, please read through the “Preparation” section.
DEADLINE : December 12, 2025
As it might be expected, LFSMUN’s accessibility also applies to chairs. However, candidates are required to have participated in at least one MUN conference in the past, as a delegate, if they wish to be selected. Because chairs form the core of every MUN conference, it is important for them to already have had hand-on experiences with MUN conferences. Nevertheless, a few more requirements apply to candidates for chair positions:
Candidates should have a minimum C1 level for English proficiency
Candidates should be in grade 10, 11 or 12
Naturally, candidates are expected to be responsible, and do their best to respect the deadlines that are given to them, notably for their chair reports.
