Jin RYOO
Dear Delegates,
Greetings from the Security Council! My name is Jin Ryoo, and I am excited to serve as your head chair for LFSMUN IV. I started my MUN journey with LFS and its Security Council, so it is an honor for me to be able to lead this committee and come back to where I have started. This chairing experience is also special for me because it will be the last conference I attend as a high schooler
I would like to give a word of advice before we start the conference. The Security Council is hectic. Some countries may come off as more ‘powerful’ than others. There is a lot of pressure to perform in an increasingly heated environment, and sadly, not many resolutions get passed at the end of the conference. However, the Security Council will be a room full of passion. Everyone there cares about bringing positive change to the world, and everyone is excited to hear different opinions on issues they deeply care about. It is going to be quite a ride, but I can promise you that it will be a fun one.
All delegates, I wish you the best of luck. I am looking forward to seeing everyone this April!
