LFSMUN aims at making an accessible conference which adds a minimal workload to participants so that they feel comfortable joining the project. Nevertheless, knowing the procedures and issues of LFSMUN is crucial for the good functioning of the Committees on conference days.
Below are all preparation documents that Delegates should read before the conference.
Chair reports are available on each committee’s page.
The Rules of Procedure
The Secretariat highly recommends all delegates, even experienced ones, to go through this document if they never had a direct experience with LFSMUN’s rules of procedures. The conference’s rules of procedure follow those of Singapore International French School’s Modern United Nations (SIMUN).
The regulations of LFSMUN guiding its organization and core principles
This is an administrative document that is not needed for preparation as a delegate. However, delegates can refer to it to know more about LFSMUN and its system.

The MUN club aims to work with delegates in preparation for the conference in April, to essentially ensure they are aware of their roles and go over key elements. On the course of multiple weeks, participants will have the opportunity to research their country's stance, accustom themselves with different types of speeches, write draft resolutions and even partake in a mock MUN a few weeks before the actual conference.
This club is perfect for first-time delegates who are unfamiliar with MUN procedures, but it also welcomes anyone wishing to gain more experience. With the support and feedback of our knowledgeable secretariat, you are guaranteed to feel less apprehensive and more confident as the conference day approaches.
