Dear Delegates, Student Officers and Directors,

We are excited to welcome you to LFSMUN IV!

LFSMUN was first founded under the name MUNLFS in 2023 with the goal of creating an opportunity for students from all backgrounds and levels of expertise to debate, discover international affairs, and learn through cooperation. In a way, LFSMUN IV will be no different from its first edition as it will continue to emphasize the core values of the United Nations, by encouraging diplomatic discussions and collaboration for a better tomorrow. 

At the same time, LFSMUN IV will also bring new developments to ensure that students experience the best possible conference. This year, we aim to expand participation from the local to the international level, while keeping the conference accessible, and to further strengthen its organization to guarantee both the smooth running of Committee debates and the overall enjoyment of our Delegates.

Moreover, LFSMUN aspires to play a meaningful role in each and every student’s journey of self-growth and discovery. In fact, MUN conferences not only help develop essential academic skills such as public speaking and critical thinking, but also offer Delegates and Student Officers a chance to explore their passions, recognize their strengths and weaknesses and embrace the value of international mindedness. 

Essentially, the LFSMUN IV Secretariat aims to make LFSMUN IV the best iteration of the conference to date. 

Therefore, we invite all students, engaged citizens and future leaders of tomorrow to join our conference, to discover together the world of diplomacy and most importantly, to embrace the joy that comes from new experiences and unforgettable memories forged through your MUN journey.

We are incredibly honored to continue the legacy of LFSMUN and we look forward to witnessing the passionate discussions and creative resolutions that you will develop together.
