THE SECRETARIAT
My name is Jio Yoon, and I am truly honored to serve as the Secretary-General of LFSMUN IV.
My passion for debate and international relations is what first brought me to MUN, but this experience has shaped me in far more ways than I expected. Beyond academic skills such as public speaking and negotiation, it has taught me equally important lessons about building confidence, working with others, and leading with respect. I am deeply grateful for every opportunity I have had as a delegate, a chair, and a member of the Secretariat. Each role allowed me to progress at my own pace and ultimately reach this position. This is why I am genuinely excited to host this new edition of LFSMUN and to offer you the same chance to grow, both intellectually and personally.
As Secretary-General, I am committed to organizing a conference that is accessible, well-structured, and genuinely engaging; one where every delegate, regardless of experience, feels supported, challenged, and inspired. I hope you will leave this conference with sharper skills, stronger confidence, and memories you will carry far beyond committee sessions.
I look forward to seeing you at the conference!
My name is Donghee Yeom, and I am 17 years old. I am honored to serve as Deputy Secretary-General of LFSMUN.
I have been involved in Model United Nations since 9th grade, as early as I was able to participate, and MUN has since become a defining part of my academic life. What initially drew me to debate gradually evolved into a deeper interest in diplomacy, collective problem-solving, and the organizational work that allows ideas to be exchanged effectively. Over the years, I have come to appreciate that a successful conference depends as much on preparation, coordination, and teamwork as it does on debate itself.
As Deputy Secretary-General, I am deeply committed to guiding LFSMUN toward a high standard of professionalism while remaining accessible and supportive to all participants. I place strong value on listening, cooperation, and clarity, and I strive to ensure that every delegate—regardless of experience—feels confident, prepared, and engaged.
My goal is to help lead LFSMUN to success by building a conference grounded in rigor, inclusivity, and genuine intellectual exchange.
My name is Adèle Volongo, I am 16 years old and currently in Grade 11. I am honored to serve as Deputy Secretary-General of LFSMUN, a role that reflects both my commitment to the conference and my long-standing interest in international affairs.
I am deeply passionate about international relations and global governance, and I aspire to pursue higher studies in politics and related fields. LFSMUN represents, for me, a unique opportunity to translate academic curiosity into practice by fostering dialogue, critical thinking, and cooperation among students from diverse backgrounds. I am particularly motivated by the chance to support delegates in developing their debate, public speaking, and diplomatic skills while ensuring that they fully enjoy the experience.
I genuinely enjoy organizing large-scale academic events and working within a team to deliver a conference that is both intellectually rigorous and engaging. I am known for being organized, reliable, and attentive to detail, while remaining approachable and supportive. As Deputy Secretary-General, my objective is to contribute to a professional, dynamic, and inclusive environment in which every participant feels encouraged to challenge themselves, learn, and grow through meaningful debate.
My name is Saemin Jang, and I am deeply honored to serve as Deputy Secretary-General of LFSMUN IV.
My personal experience in MUN has greatly helped me strengthen my public speaking, diplomacy, leadership and cooperation skills. Beyond these competencies, MUN has offered me invaluable opportunities to meet different people, exchange perspectives and address global issues. As LFSMUN was my very first MUN experience and played a major role in my continued participation in conferences and leadership roles, I am delighted to serve as Deputy Secretary-General.
I sincerely hope that this year’s LFSMUN will be a meaningful and enriching experience for everyone involved, one that encourages the development of diplomacy, debate, and collaboration skills and offers all participants the opportunity to learn, engage and fully enjoy the conference.
