1. Read

2. Gilliam models "zooming in" especially with dialogue

3. On Classroom, respond to how your novel "zoomed in" on one particular part of the story. How did the author do that? How was it effective? Explain.

4. Review notes on writing good dialogue. Make sure you do this in your writing!

5. Finish with this: read your version of the story "zoomed out" (If you have two people, you get to pick one.)

          • Hera and Aphrodite (Noelle, Olivia)
          • Hades (Luke, Kaden)
          • Athena and Artemis(Yessica, Sydney)
          • Apollo (Tagan, Andrew)
          • Hephaestus (Chris, Noah)
          • Hestia or Ares (Michael, Jada)
          • Hermes (Arie, Jackson)
          • Poseidon(Parker, Jhmari, Dylan)
  • Then, rewrite the story for us by "zooming in" and establishing more of a narrative. Give the story a setting. Give the story more dialogue. Then, be able to tell us the story in a captivating way.
