The Purple Star Campus Designation recognizes Texas school districts and charter schools that show their support and commitment to meeting the unique needs of military-connected students and their families.

Every fall, TEA awards the Purple Star Campus designation to campuses that apply and meet the established criteria.

Lake Dallas Elementary was the only elementary school in Region 11 to receive this distinction for the 2025-2026 school year!
