A group of students from Lake Dallas High School was recognized for their service on the LDHS Student Advisory Council. This council brings together student leaders from across the district to share their ideas, perspectives, and experiences directly with our superintendent. Throughout the year, they participate in structured conversations that help inform decisions, strengthen programs, and improve the overall student experience in our schools.

Lake Dallas High School Visual Arts entered 26 works of art into the Region 11 Visual Art Scholastic Event. Of those pieces, 2 received a rating of "Excellent", the second highest possible score, and the remaining 24 received the highest possible rating of "Superior". Those Superior rated artworks earned their artists a Regional Medal.
Out of those medalists, Freshman Emma Quinn advanced to the State VASE competition later this month in Sand Marcos, TX!
Emma's advancement to the State Competition marks the 25th consecutive year that Lake Dallas has had a student advance to the state level.
At the district UIL meet, Alaina Clemens earned 1st place in Spelling & Vocabulary for the third consecutive year, while Lily Hoffman made program history as the first LDHS student to advance to the Regional Contest in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, finishing 2nd overall.
In addition, the LDHS Math Team secured a strong 2nd place finish overall, showcasing advanced problem-solving skills across a wide range of mathematical disciplines.
Elementary students also competed at a high level at their district UIL meet. Students who placed in the top 3 in their competitive categories were recognized for their indivual accomplishments.

The Lake Dallas High School Varsity Mixed Choir received Sweepstakes at the Concert and Sight Reading Contest!
The Lake Dallas High School Girls Soccer team was recognized for their successful season. With an overall record of 19-3, the girls claimed the most wins for the program's history. 21 members of the team were recognized on the Academic All-District team, and the team ended their season as back to back District 8-4A Champions.
The Lake Dallas High School Falcon Soccer Team was recognized for the history making season. After a hard fought regular season, the Falcons excelled in playoffs, making it to the State Championship game. Not only was this the first time in to play at State for soccer, it was the first time that any Lake Dallas team sport has advanced to the state championship. While the final score did not end in their favor, we are extremely proud of these athletes for their hard work and dedication.
The Class of 2026 Falcon Insider Participants were recognized for their dedication and commitment to Falcon Nation by completing this program!
Lake Dallas ISD's Falcon Insider program is a unique opportunity for parents and community members to experience an interactive and in-depth behind-the-scenes view of LDISD.
Each month, we recognize a teacher and employee of the month from each campus and district department! The Board takes time to recognize these individuals during the meeting.
