Positive Athlete of the year award
Lanz Lavina, Class of 2026, was named Positive Athlete of the Year- a National Recognition for high-character student-athletes.
Lanz was selected as one of 32 student athletes across North Texas from more than 1,000 nominations representing 307 schools for exemplifying leadership, character, service, and sportsmanship.

Lake Dallas ISD is proud to announce the hiring of Ronald Watkins at Lake Dallas High School.
Mr. Ronald Watkins will be joining LDHS in the position of Assistant Principal. Mr. Watkins holds degrees from both the University of North Texas and Lamar University and will be launching into his 17th year in education.
His previous experience includes six years as a mathematics and special education teacher, five years as Assistant Principal in both middle school and high school settings, and six years as the Principal of Denton ISD’s DAEP campus.
