My favorite part of working on this art piece was probably the watercolor since I could experiment and work more and more to try to perfect the shading. I decided that I was only going to add line art on the flower to really be the main focus of the piece and add some extra volume. The inspiration for this art piece was the old roman statues missing their heads and how we perceive girls these days to only be worthy if they fit the standard even if it hurts them.
