Sustained Investigation #9

Lucid the Charlatan.

I am doing my sculptures again but I figured if I made a concept sketch very quickly, it would give me more time to focus on the sculptures themselves. With this, I made the design for my current favourite character, Lucid. I plan on adding a background to the final piece as I have been suggested to do for a while. His clothes are inspired by old English clothing but also giving him a motif of sorts, a square with a line through it, I plan to give all my characters a specific symbol to connect them with. For this drawing, I used an ink pen, alcohol markers and white ink for the highlights. I am really excited to be able to make this guy into a 3d sculpture.
