The original design I wanted to go for was a sense of culture attached. Whether it be the ancient cave paintings or depictions of gods by old and forgotten legends, I wanted to show a god showing off it's divine power to the small groups of people that view it.
I was inspired by the sun and moon symbol you find hung on the wall of mexican restaurants or a "good vibes only" instagram page, I wanted t add onto that idea while still keeping that mystical power it has attached to it. The small village shown I wanted to really show this power whatever the god has, to given the sense of how really big this deity is.
^ the process is just scratching off a board of clay in order as a style, this is such progress thatv I've made.
And to the right, is the final product that I was able to come up with, it turned out exactly how I wanted it to, and I even was able to add extra details to the creaton by making it more pronounced. Say, like the fields or the booming nature of the deity portrayed.
