Sustained Investigation #11

This is the completed drawing for my subsequent sculpture work. Initially, the drawing I made felt too bright and saturated, so it needed more dull colours to make the bright ones stand out better, I also made the skin more of a brown pink rather than a bright pink. I think the changes I made were a lot better than just posting something I wasn't proud of. This character's outfit is inspired by Aztec culture and the clothing they wore, I've been experimenting with different time periods in my work and how I can use different elements with them. I thought of adding the different aspects of their gods to this character, adding the details of outside weirdness like a hand for a tail to four ears and a mouth eye. He overall looks very mutant and odd. The Aztec clothes have a lot of brown and bright primary colours to them, so that was my main component.
