As we begin another period of Lockdown, we understand how difficult this can be for our pupils. LAB staff have been busy investigating a range of interesting live attractions, challenges and competitions we think our students might enjoy, and will provide them with a range of different experiences at this time. Click on any of the linked images below for more information. Do not forget - pupils also have access to a wide range of TIF activities on their Subject Google classrooms. Please see subject pages for further details.
Doodle for Google is an annual art contest open to students in grades K-12. Students are invited to create their own Google doodle for the chance to have it featured on Google.com, as well as win some great scholarships and tech packages for their schools. This year's theme is:
Strength isn’t only about how fast you can run or how many pushups you can do – it’s also about the strength inside of you.

The co-op have joined forces with the release of the new film The Croods 2: A New Age. They would like you to design a croods inspired treehouse with the chance to win a treehouse built for our LAB community.
What: Design your own treehouse using the template. It can be as wacky as you want, let your imagination run wild!
How: You can draw, paint, use computer software or even cave drawings to create your design, but above all be sure to think about how this could be used by the community and bring a lot of fun
Email all entries to Miss Endersby at emma.endersby@leighacademyblackheath.org.uk before the 12th February.
