BASE CAD MODEL

The base fixture design consists of a dual-layer rectangular plate—a support layer and a modular interface layer. It includes:

• Symmetrical locating holes ensuring precise alignment on CNC beds

• Circular clamping grooves to accommodate fixture elements

• Parametric vertical support bracket designed to withstand lateral and torsional forces

• Smooth fillets and stress-relief features enhancing durability

This CAD model forms the baseline against which all optimized and generative designs are compared. It represents a traditional-style fixture, intentionally kept robust to highlight the performance gain achieved through optimization.
