METHODOLOGY
The methodology employed in this research integrates simulation, signal processing, and finite element analysis (FEA) within a MATLAB and Simulink environment to enable predictive monitoring of tool wear. The system architecture comprises five functional modules working in tandem to simulate a realistic machining scenario and detect tool degradation through vibrational and modal analysis.
