PROBLEM STATEMENT :
Developing an Automatic Pet Feeding Machine Using Arduino Pet owners often face the challenge of maintaining regular feeding schedules for their pets, especially when they are away from home for extended periods. > This lead to concerns about the well-being and health of their pets. To address issue, the development of an automatic pet feeding machine using Arduino presents itself as a solution. The primary objective of this project is to design a system that can dispense precise portions of pet food at scheduled intervals without requiring manual intervention which will ease humans work when they are not available in their residential area.
OBJECTIVES :
The main objectives of the "Automatic pet feeder" project are as follows: 1)To design and develop a prototype of an automatic food dispenser that is capable of detecting the pet and dispensing the food at the allotted time. 2)To integrate various sensors to detect the pet when it comes near the food container. 3)To attach a buzzer to indicate that the food is dispensed in the box. 4)To display the buzzer and sensor is on, the system also displays real time and date. 5)The motors allow the food to fall in the container and the container lid to open when the sensor detects the pet near the container box.
