OBJECTIVES
· Develop a simulation-based framework for predictive tool wear monitoring.
· Create CAD models of the tool and workpiece with realistic material properties.
· Conduct FEA-based stress and modal analysis under various cutting conditions.
· Study the impact of cutting speed, tool tip radius, and depth of cut on stress and vibration.
· Identify vibration frequency and stress as indicators of tool wear.
· Validate simulation results using theoretical calculations.
· Support intelligent, non-intrusive tool condition monitoring in machining.
