Having a Purple Star Designation means that Kettering is a military-friendly school, and as a district, we have made a commitment to the students and families connected to our nation’s military. Approximately 35,000 students in Ohio are members of military families.
A military family has unique needs, whether that's their frequent moves and/or family separations through deployments, their unique challenges require specific approaches to help support these students.
