What is College Credit Plus?
College Credit Plus (CCP) gives students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to take college courses for free and earn high school and college credit before graduating high school. It is a dual enrollment program with many benefits.
Why take CCP?
Earn high school and college credit for classes taken
Reduce the time and cost of earning college credit
CCP course grades are weighted the same as AP/IB and other advanced standing classes on a high school transcript

AP CALCULUS AB STEM - MA513
Prerequisites: Algebra II (Honors)

This AP course satisfies the guidelines set by the College Board for AP Calculus AB. Students will have the option of enrolling into CCP MTH 2300 at Wright State University. (GC)
CALCULUS I & II STEM - CCPW17 / CCPW18
Prerequisites: Pre-Calc (Honors) or ALGEBRA II / PRE-CALCULUS (H) BLOCK

This is a dual enrollment course offered through CCP. Students taking this course will enroll in MTH 2300 and MTH 2310 at Wright State University. This is course is a higher level course than MA 513.
CALCULUS III STEM - CCPW15
Prerequisites: Calc I & II (C or above) OR 3 or above on AP Calc BC Exam

This is a Multivariable Calculus dual enrollment course through College Credit Plus. Students taking this course must have earned a C or better in Calculus I & II or a 3 or above on the AP Calculus BC exam. Students taking this course will enroll in MTH 2320 at Wright State University.
IB ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS & SOCIETIES SL STEM - CCPCS01
Prerequisites: Integrated Science & Biology I

This one-year course provides students with an understanding of complex environmental issues. Systems thinking is the integrative theme of this course. Scientific method and scientific process are prevalent throughout the SL program as students conduct lab investigations within the thematic areas.
CCP ENGLISH COMPOSITION I - ENG433

In English Composition I students learn reflective, analytical and argumentative writing strategies, incorporating sources and personal experience. Students will negotiate between public and private rhetorical situations and purposes to achieve academic literacy. They will write multiple drafts using a recursive writing process as they work toward fluency in style and mechanics.
In this course, students will earn credit at Sinclair Community College through College Credit Plus and earn credit at Fairmont High School. There will be a cap on the number of seats available for this course. Priority will be given to seniors until the sections are at capacity. All students who do not receive a spot in ENG433, will be placed in their grade level ELA course at FHS. Students who sign up for this course must be approved by Sinclair to take CCP and will enroll in EN1101 at Sinclair CC.
ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY STEM - SC411
Prerequisites: Biology I, (Chemistry I also recommended)

Anatomy and Physiology involves the integrated coverage of the structure and function of the human body. Included are: nervous system, cytology, histology, circulation, metabolism, skeletal system, urinary system, nerve-muscle physiology, endocrine system, reproduction, and electrolyte balance. Dissections will be an integral part of the course.
MUSIC THEORY - MU401

*Must be in a music ensemble.
Students will study key signatures, triads, chord progressions, basic part-writing, and score analysis of various musical styles. Students will also study basic arranging and transpositions of instruments found in various ensembles. This course is part of the College Credit Plus program.
