Graduation: We received exciting news that the University of Dayton will hold in-person graduations for their graduating seniors. We have been working with UD Arena on the logistics and restrictions/guidelines since that announcement in the last 24 hours. At this moment, we are still planning to have the Class of 2021 Commencement Ceremony at UD Arena on Thursday, May 20 at 7:00 pm. As we get more information in the coming weeks, we will share them with our parents and students.

CLASS OF 2021 BACCALAUREATE CEREMONY

Date: Sunday, May 16, 2021

Time: 5:00PM - 7:00PM (rehearsal at 3:00PM)

Location: First Baptist Church of Kettering, 3939 Swigart Road, Dayton, OH 45440

The Fairmont Baccalaureate is an opportunity for all graduating students to meditate and review their accomplishments, express gratitude toward others, perform through speech, music, or dance, reflect on their faith, and allow for prayer and guidance for their future. All graduates wear their cap & gown and will receive a Baccalaureate Cord to wear at graduation. Baccalaureate provides a great opportunity for extended family to celebrate with the graduates in a relaxed, easily accessible atmosphere.

The Kettering Fairmont Baccalaureate Parent Committee is pleased to continue the long-standing tradition of hosting the Baccalaureate Service on Sunday, May 16 at 5:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Kettering. It is an interdenominational service and is not required to participate in the commencement ceremony.
