AI for Teachers

This list is not exhaustive. These are the apps that are out there designed with teachers in mind! Some of them are standalone tools while others are extensions or add-ons to be added to Google Chrome or embedded in a specific app. Many of these tools are designed to assist with your workflow and streamline processes that are often some of the most tedious everyday things a teacher does - freeing up time before and after school for you and helping you focus your work hours on the best part of teaching - interacting with your students!

If you need a robust tool to help you with planning everything involved in teaching, Eduaide.Ai is possibly the best tool out there for teachers. Designed to be easy to use with a robust UI that utilizes both text prompts and selectable buttons to narrow the scope of your needs, this tool can be used to develop lesson plans, rubrics, feedback documents, outlines, assignments, and more!

It is possibly one of the easiest AI tools to use due to its intuitive interface. All content can be copied and pasted to other apps as well - such as Google Docs or Canvas.

Brisk Teaching

A very popular AI tool in our district - Brisk Teaching is an extension for Google Chrome that can assist with creating presentations, providing targeted feedback on student work, changing the level of a given text (including PDF files), and more.

Many teachers at KHSD swear by Brisk's easy-to-use extension. It is free to use forever for teachers for the most useful tools.

AudioPen

This is an AI-powered web app that you can use on your computer or phone. You simply speak to the app, it records what you've said as speech-to-text and then it reformats that text using AI to form a more cohesive version that removes repetition, filler words like uh or um, and generally "cleans up" your speech. This can be a great tool for keeping notes on student interactions, assisting with email writing, or making announcements.

Its free-to-use version allows for up to 3 minutes of talking per text, but the premium version goes up to 15 minutes.
