The King

We are at a very important moment in our history.  The last Coronation of a King or Queen happened back on the 2nd of June 1953, 70 years ago.    Hillary had just become the first man to stand on the summit of Everest,  the Korean War had ended,  bread cost 16 cents a loaf and  petrol was 22 cents a litre.

If you don't know much about King Charles the 3rd, here are ten interesting facts about him.  Open Canva and put them in the order you think is most important from 1 to ten on an Infographic type poster.  Find a few really good images to put on the Infographic with it.  Make sure this is finally placed onto a google doc or turned into a PDF so you can store and share it on Drive.  (Make sure it is shared with all.

Skimming and Scanning is a useful technique to find information in text.  We have done this in group work and we know that there are some hints, tips an cheats to make this work better.

Can you remember others.
