Read through the Matariki Breakfast story. Start a new page in your Reading VNB - Make a small Matariki Title Page. Include a caption and photos. (and the date.)
Make a Jamboard with the Te Reo words and their meanings from the story. eg. Kai = Food. 🍲 Screen shot it into your VNB
Now in your reading group make a screencast of you all reading the story. Focus on reading clearly and pronouncing the words correctly. How you do this is up to you, it might be a good idea to make a slide of each double page of the story, then all read a few pages each. When you make your screencast have the pictures from the book on your video. HAVE A LOOK AT THE EXAMPLE VIDEO HERE. ------>
Put your screencast onto the page in the Slideshow so all of your videos go together .
