It is Commonwealth Games Time. In your VNB, Find out where they are being held this year?
Go to. ETV and Sign up for an account with your Kaniere School account. You will be able to use this only to view the Commonwealth Games.
Go to the ETV Site and sign up on the ETV Site using your Kaniere School email.
Go to Live TV
Go to Prime TV and see if there is any highlights on.
Go to the NZ Commonwealth Games site. Read the tables and see where the medal prospects are and see if you can watch them. Also look at some of the winners so far and watch their highlights.
Read through the Website. Find 5 interesting points and one sad or disapointing story. List these on your VNB
Search for a past or present New Zealand Athlete. Do a one or two page Project on these people. Interesting facts, where they were born and when, pictures, facts.
Find 2 really cool Games stories from some of the New Zealand Newspapers. List the important points with images.
Using good old paper and pencils: Look at the current Medals from Birmingham. They are Unique. Make your own Games medal that we could use if the games were held in New Zealand.
