The Week After

It's going to be a hard week.   Coming back down to earth after our week at Bridge Valley Camp and to Nelson.  Spend a few minutes just looking through the photos and movies at what we did.

I know it is not reading but a picture is worth a thousand words.  Which pictures do you love the most?

Choose your top 20 images.  Screen shot or copy and paste onto some kind of photomovie.  Look in Canva or find another method of making a movie story using the photos.  Hey,  you are good at doing this kind of research.  Don't forget to help each other.

This is a Level 4 story so read it with someone in  your group.

List ten things that are similar to our camp without naming names.

List 5 things that are different.

Find your own online stories.   Where can you go to find free online reading resources?  Make a website using your Google sites Skills. (Work with someone from your own reading group.  When you make your website with the links on it,  make sure to put the name of the person who found the link on the bottom.  This will be explained to you in class.

Find the link and share it to yourself,  Then charge an ipad and find a quiet place to read your story on a tablet.  This is not free time but a chance to chill out with a good book.

(Make a tiny.cc. or tinyurl.com link to make it easier to find on a tablet or phone.)

Make a list of the adults who were on camp.  Include only those parents who came with us on camp.  Not Mr A or the camp staff.

Write a letter to at least 3 of them.  Your letter should include the following.

Make sure your group has at least a letter or 2 for every single person.
