8 - Journals vs. Activities

Overview

Understanding the difference between a student's journal and an activity is crucial to understanding Seesaw.

The Journal is a place students can voluntarily share with their class- this can be photos, drawings, videos, uploads, notes, and links.

Activities are assigned by teachers and completed by the class. We'll get to activity creation in a later tutorial!

REMEMBER: YOU create activities and the students respond. Students can add journal entries at any time, without a prompt.
