If you have multiple children using Seesaw for learning, it is helpful to add all of your children’s journals in the Seesaw Family app.
This will enable to see your children’s journals in one place, and you will not have to remember separate login information. Additionally, you'll be able to message with each child's teacher from one location.
Remember, the Family App only allows you to see your child's journal and communicate with their teacher. If you wish for your child to complete activities, they need to sign in using the Class App. See our page on the Family App vs. the Class App for more.

With a direct email invite:
Check your email to find an email invite from Seesaw. You will not receive this unless your child's teacher has prompted it. If you are certain your child's teacher has done so, check your spam, and verify that the teacher has your correct email address.
Click the button in this email to connect to your child's journal.
Sign in to your existing Seesaw account.
With a QR Code provided by your child's teacher:
Sign in to the Family App using your preferred method.
Tap your profile icon (top left).
Tap “+ Add Journal”.
Scan the QR code on the handout from your child's teacher.
With a link provided by your child's teacher:
Follow the email link or type in the URL on the handout from your child's teacher.
Choose your child from the class list.
On the signup screen, click the "Sign in" tab at the top instead of creating a new account.
Sign in to your existing account and click the “Register for Updates” button.
The teacher will need to approve your access. Once you have access, you can tap the Menu button to switch between journals.
With an SMS invite:
You will receive an SMS text message on your device if it has been added by your child's teacher.
Open the message to see directions to connect to your child’s journal.
You will be prompted to sign in with an existing account.

Tap the name of the child you'd like to swap to.
