One of the tools most-used on Seesaw for students to show their work is the drawing tool. The drawing tool features many options for customization, including colors, brushes, and recording abilities, making it a favorite tool for all activities.
The drawing tool is especially great for math, if the student has access to a touchscreen.
Don't fear: we'll be learning about the difference between Activities and Journal Entires in the next Tutorial!
1. The drawing tool is accessed in the same way as the photo, video, and note tools. If responding to an activity, the student clicks on the green "Add Response" button. If adding a journal entry, the student clicks on the green "+" button while under their journal tab:
2. The student selects the draw tool.
3. The student completes the activity and taps/clicks the green check mark to submit their work.
See an example of how the drawing tool can be used to annotate on top of a student submission!
