The Fine Arts ll class and their winning pumpkins!
The Fine Arts II class participated in the Lakeside Shopping Center pumpkin contest and won 3rd place. They painted and sculpted pumpkins based on the Disney Movie The Princess and the Frog. Congratulations Fine Arts ll class!
Fine Art is a class taught by Mrs. Elliot in room H-8. She takes great pride in her job, and lets all students know she's there to help if they need anything. Part of her being an art teacher comes with her being very encouraging towards students who don't think they have the ability to create anything. She encourages students to try their hardest and she never gives up on them because she sees potential in everyone.

-"We felt very proud of ourselves because Curtis hasn't placed in this competition. We were very excited"

-"Everyone played their part and contributed in their own ways in the project. We all used our individual strengths and came together to complete one goal."
What made you and the class choose The Princess and the Frog theme?
"We collectively voted, and went off of our ability to create and express ourselves"
Was it challenging painting the pumpkins?
