Goodbye summer! Hello fall! Are you enjoying the pumpkin spice season or have you started listening to Christmas music already? The start of this school year has been action-packed. Coach J.T. made national headlines when he secured his 622nd win and became the winningest coach in football history on November 3, 2023. JCCS community service organizations have had a busy month hosting a blood drive, a canned good food drive, and the Operation Christmas Child project. The pressure is on in academic classes as students enter the third grading period of the school year while trying to balance school work, jobs, extracurricular activities, and life in general. Although this time of year may seem frantic, there is some beauty amid all the stress as students get to enjoy experiences that they will remember forever. At the same time though, is it too early to start counting down the days until we leave school for Christmas break?
