All throughout high school you’ve been told to manage your time wisely, right? Now is the time to put your efforts into action! I know school is hard at times, but by finding the right balance and motivation, you’ll be able to fly through the work. Push yourself and the end results will be worth it. Stay confident and don’t let any negative thoughts get you down. Through high school, you’ll change, but change is good! Have fun and enjoy all your years through high school. Trust me; it will fly by.

What is a lesson you’ve learned while in high school?
One lesson I've learned is to not procrastinate. Don't put schoolwork off to the side and wait till the night before to do it.
What are the goals you’ve accomplished in high school?
I've managed to stay in all honors classes. I've also taken college classes and earned credits for them. I was inducted into the NHS during my 10th-grade year. I am also on both the cheer team and the dance team.
What advice can you give to new students and junior high students?
My advice would be to enjoy your high school years. Try not to stress yourself out too much. Remember: HAVE FUN!!
What’s your secret to balancing your school life and life on the field/daily life?
I try to separate my school life from my personal life as much as I can, so I'm not so stressed about both. I also try to get the majority of my schoolwork done in class, so I don't have to worry about it once I'm home.
What is a lesson you’ve learned while in high school?
One lesson I have learned in high school is to take advantage of every opportunity to be involved with school because you only get to do high school once and I do not want to have any regrets after I graduate.
What are the goals you’ve accomplished in high school?
The goal I have accomplished was to maintain a 4.0 throughout all 4 years of high school and to be more outgoing after being at a different school for 8th grade.
What advice can you give to new students and junior high students?
To the new students and junior high students, life is short. Don't be afraid to take a risk and to be outgoing. Live every day to the fullest and the more you get involved, the more people you will meet and the more memories you will remember.
What’s your secret to balancing your school life and life on the field/daily life?
Time management. Before most weeks, I plan out what activities I have and how long they take. Especially during baseball season, I try to set aside time when I am home specifically for school work and to study.
What is a lesson you’ve learned while in high school?
A lesson I learned while in high school is to not take high school for granted. When you look at how much time you have left, it does look like you have so much time left here. It truly flies by and you'll never get to experience it again, so live it up!
What are the goals you’ve accomplished in high school?
I achieved several goals such as being a two-time State Champion and receiving the Outstanding Player award in 2021 as a Freshman. I've also kept a 4.0 GPA in high school while doing travel and school softball.
What advice can you give to new students and junior high students?
The best advice I can give younger or new students is to be outgoing and to get involved. Go to the football or other sports games! The best feeling is looking into the crowd and having a huge student section.
What’s your secret to balancing your school life and life on the field/daily life?
My secret to balancing my school life with my daily life is to get as much as I can get done at school. I do a lot of my work while traveling in the car or on the bus, so that I do not have to rush to finish it after the game. It also can leave me free time at the end of the day to relax and get rest for the next day.
What is a lesson you’ve learned while in high school?
A lesson that I learned while in high school is that you really need to study for tests.
What are the goals you’ve accomplished in high school?
A goal that I have accomplished while in high school was winning a state championship in football.
What advice can you give to new students and junior high students?
Some advice that I have for new students is that no matter what happens, you can always talk to the administrators. All they want is what is best for you.

My secret to balancing my school life and my field life is learning how to make a schedule that helps benefit both school and sports and to stay on that schedule so that I can benefit in both.
