This week in Language Arts, we will analyze the figurative language, foreshadowing, and character perspectives present in the novel, Inside Out and Back Again.

This week in Bible, we will begin our new curriculum by focusing on God's story.  Our first unit will focus on how, as Christians, it is our job to help restore this world for the glory of Christ.

Learning Targets: 

This week in science, we will continue our unit on Gravity and Kinetic Energy. This week, we will review our speed tracks and what we learned so far about speed. We will work with the speed equation to calculate average speed and then add on more speed track to our observations, exploring what other factors affect speed. We will also conduct our own speed walking lab at the end of the week, connecting to the content we have learned so far.

Social Studies: This week we will begin by discussing how important it is to learn World History from a Christian perspective.  We will then move to exploring prehistory and how historians, scientists, and anthropologists try to figure out how humans lived before recorded history.
