BOOM! Beautiful be Set Free

Gamma Rays, Something so charming can kill you.

“to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, “ - Shakespear

My people of wwII, nuclear hearts, left like a fresh peeled mandarin orange to decompose. Nothingness

The souls of those released from the sorrow and pain,

Souber thoughts bouncing off the walls of a mind as marble would.

To infinity and beyond, freedome.

Every day a new person, shining for a billionth chance.

A jail bird of introspection, chained to a road, manumit

Twinkle twinkle little star, now I know what you are.

Beautiful Be Set Free!

Mamma Earth... I'm sorry

I the cloud, shall speak upon

The images of thou ot to be.

Emotions. Actions.

I the cloud have feelings,

Too much I cry

Too little I embrace.

For I see the fight Mamma is putting up.

The ivory grass covered in chemicals,

Or the mossy river beds holding wrappers waiting to hand off.

For my Mother takes care.

Her ice white hair, melting away as if she was never beautiful.

I the cloud, see all from above.

All the suffering you put our Mother through.

I'm sorry… Mamma Earth. I the cloud flew.

In The Life of an Elephant

Hello! I am a Ceratotherium simum or known mainly as the white rhino. A day in my life is not what it used to be… I am a girl because there are no male rhinos left. I used to get up grazing with all my friends until they were captured. Those awful things ripped the horns off of my best friends and so many others. I was lucky enough to survive. They all layed there, frozen, bleeding until nothing. Some nicer “humans” (I learned what they were called)came and rescued the rest of us from those savages, so they could make more of us! *Many years later* I am now 37 years old and laying on my death bed. The journey I went throughout will live on. I just know it...

Why Nature is Important

Many people think to themselves, “why do we need nature?”. Have you ever questioned why nature is here, or why is it important? In this essay, I will show you three reasons why nature is incredibly important. Nature is important because it provides us with essential resources, strengthens all heath, and gives us places to travel and relax. Since this is a writing about nature and its calming states, take a deep breath and prepare to learn more about your surroundings.

To start off, if we were to cut all connection with any kind of nature, we would all die. According to humansandnature.orgHumans cannot survive without nature. Unfortunately, humans take for granted the great things that nature has to offer.” As that quote states, humans can not survive and take the great landscapes earth provides us for granted. To add on, if we don't take care of our planet and what we put into the atmosphere we could be in grave danger. As some scientist say “populations have already reached their survival limits as the Arctic sea ice shrinks.”According to BBC - Climate change .(Go to this link Youtube or look up “Our Planet Frozen World” to learn more)

Moving on, the second reason nature is important is because it strengthens heath. Not just physical health , mental health too. “Strayer’s hypothesis is that being in nature allows the prefrontal cortex, the brain’s command center, to dial down and rest” This was sated in Your brain on Nature pt.1, the quote shows that being in nature for a period of time with no distractions can lower your stress levels, and improve production and attention skills. “depression, alcoholism, and suicide, government-funded researchers asked thousands of people to rate their moods and stress levels after visiting both natural and urban areas.” Urban areas such as New York. According to nuro-scientists, going into nature relaxes the prefrontal cortex, the prefrontal cortex controls your behavior and cognitive activities.

Finally, why is nature so pretty to look at? According to Harvard UniversityEmerson says that nature is beautiful because it is alive, moving, reproductive. In nature we observe growth and development in living things” The reason nature is so stimulating to the brain, is because it's alive. For another example, take us humans, we are attracted to people because they are alive and moving not dead. The beauty of nature is something the human eye attracts. That is why we need nature to see the astounding features of life.

In conclusion, nature is important because it provides us with essential resources, strengthens all heath, and gives us places to travel. “Imagine a therapy that had no known side effects, was readily available and could improve your cognitive functioning at zero cost,” As Your Brain on Nature said traveling to the outdoors is like free therapy. This proves that nature is and will always be important.
