The wind on my bare feet

Makes me walk to a new beat

The annoyance of the wind in my hair

however some people just don’t care

My tree is bare and brown

The same color as the ground

The clouds are white

Like the wind at night

The wind blowing the trash around

I wonder what new treasures can be found

The wind has brought a chill to the air

Not a good time for an outside fair

I hope the wind will soon disappear

Anxiously awaiting for the sun to appear

Winter

As I fall from the cloud in the sky I see beauty everywhere. I don’t know where I am but I know that people are going to love me. As I land on someone's nose they are shocked. I knew this person was going to be so excited. As my friends come from the sky people start to look up. They don’t know what is falling from the sky. But all of my friends keep coming down.

People start walking faster and faster trying to get home because they don’t know what is going on. As I go home with the person that I landed on, I notice that all of my friends are coming down faster and faster. This happened all night, I couldn’t wait for the person to get up and look outside.

As she looks outside she is amazed at what she is seeing. She gets all of her stuff ready to go to work, but this is her first time ever seeing snow. So she takes the day off of work and goes out to look at it. I wish you could see the smile on her face. She was so happy to see snow. All of my friends were packed onto the ground like a big fluffy pillow. Then all of the sudden she jumps right onto the snow like it was her bed. She was tossing it up in the air and rolling all around in it.

As I looked around everyone looked confused at first. But then everyone around her jumped in the snow as well. They were throwing it up in the air and rolling around in it. They even started throwing snow at each other.

Eventually we melted and I had to say goodbye to the lovely lady. But, we came back a few weeks later. Then we melted again. This happened for a few more weeks and then we disappeared for a while. But, after months we finally came back. And something special happened to that family. They had a baby. The baby had such a fun time playing in the snow, but the baby grew up. And I was there to see all of it.
