Helen Leroux

My name is Helen Leroux. I am in Nature Writing. We made a bunch of amazing stories, poems, and random writes. Nature Writing has taught us to enjoy time outsides, effects of what we do on our day to day life, and how to write more about nature. Here is one of the things I have wrote in Nature Writing.

Birds Eye View Short-Shory

The bird that called itself Pete was flying around these buildings but he wasn’t sure. He was flying and saw these stick-looking figures walking on these small trails. He traveled a long way and finally saw the perfect vision of his bright pink car. This car is flatter. As he goes by the apartment he sees Mr. Rogers who has severe anger issues and half of the time he is on his phone yelling I guess he gets paid to argue with people. Pete is always trying to see what he’s talking about but he never finds out. His wife Ms. Rogers is always not on the phone and highly hates the “new fashion” so all she has is a wall phone. Next, to them is Mr. Gibson he loves to cook but Pete tried it and hated it! Pete only eats the freshest of worms. Neither Mr. Gibson and Mr. Rogers hate each other because all they do is argue about the perfect pancakes that never turn out completely right. Below Mr. Gibson is Mr. Tims and his son who has no interest in him only his job. And his “job” is his band with all his friends which they been saying is going somewhere. But the only place those boys are going is hopefully college. Pete finished the day by flying by the biggest person ever on the board looking thing. Pete goes home.

Or if you don't like to read (like me). Here's a short and simple Nature Haiku.

Nature Haiku Very Short Poem

Snow comes down pounding

Crystals shoot across the sky

The night dusk floats by
