Social Studies: - Students will create geographical models of their island and analyze how landforms and climate impact a community.
Language Arts:
- Students will create a sales pitch with the intent to persuade potential buyers to purchase real estate plots
- Students will develop an advertising campaign including commercials, billboards, websites etc. which will rely on marketing strategies in order to persuade a specific target audience
Students will learn how producers, consumers, and decomposers have their needs met and how they impact the environment. They will understand how and why producers and consumers interact. Furthermore, they will understand the importance of a working ecosystem.
Students will create a beautiful new park in their community that will feature plenty of space and includes a working ecosystem where producers, consumers, and decomposers will work together as a food chain.
