STEAM is integrated into this project because students will use computers to research local parks in their communities. Students will illustrate and label their playground design and learn about the importance of a working ecosystem. They will explore various parts of the ecosystem in their community. Also, students will determine the measurements of their playground by researching playgrounds in Jersey City.
