These brief 5 minute lessons/activities support the social emotional needs of parents and caregivers. We know that in order to take care of our children to the best of our ability, we need to tend to our own mental well-being in order to be the best versions of ourselves. Our children notice how we handle adversity and manage our emotions.
With the increased demands placed on parents in supporting their children with learning at home and attending to the mental health needs, this document was created to provide families with resources prioritizing the necessity of fostering relationship with their child, incorporating clear routines in the home, and ways to offer reassurance when attending to the most immediate needs that are coming up for your child.
