Design thinking, what is it?

Design Thinking is a design methodology that provides a solution-based approach to solving problems. It’s a very useful way to tackle complex problems that are ill-defined or unknown, by understanding the need involved, by creating many ideas in brainstorming sessions, and by adopting a hands-on approach in prototyping and testing. Let's see these five stages of Design Thinking:

  1. Discover

  2. Interpret

  3. Ideate

  4. Prototype

  5. Test

and repeat..

So following these steps we started to build up our robotic arm, creating teams between Italian and French students, as the document "ARM4EUROPE" shows.
