FRIDAY 03RD OCTOBER 2025
This week saw a very special event in school, with our annual Leadership Summit. Students from Primary and Secondary gathered in the Secondary MPH for presentations by Ms Sinead, Mr Nocholas and other school leaders. All of our new Primary leaders were in attendance, and it was a proud day for all concerned.
Later in the morning, our new Prefects re-assembled in the Training Room for individual and group challenges. Primary leaders were on hand to observe and identify those among them who stood out as potential Head Prefects, and those names have been announced today. Congratulations to everyone involved: your success is thoroughly deserved.
In the classrooms, the students have worked hard over a number of days to complete their extensive writing at the end of our Persuasive Writing unit, and the outcomes have impressed everyone. This learning also matches the work the students have been doing in their Sayang Malaysia unit in Humanities, so has extra, cross-curricular value.
This week in Science, we have completed our look at Electricity and begun a new unit on Light. A polite reminder that the students have been asked to bring cardboard into school for their periscope-building lesson next week. Thank you to everyone who has already sent material.
Wishing you all a peaceful and relaxing weekend with your families.
