At the heart of our Professional Learning is Personal Professional Inquiry.
All professional staff are expected to conduct their own professional inquiry. Everyone is given the autonomy to pursue their professional passion and drive their own purpose.
More information about our Professional Learning and Personal Professional Inquiry can be found in our PLC Handbook (insert link when the guide is developed).
As a general outline, staff are expected to:
Choose the topic they want to inquire in September
Find at least one person to collaborate with (Collaboration is the stuff of learning)
Find a suitable provocation (online course, organized PD, book, article etc)
Develop an inquiry question
Research their professional inquiry and develop ideas
Implement research-based practices and ideas in their teaching.
Evaluate the impact on student learning.
Share with all staff at our professional learning celebration on Friday May 28, 2021.
