The Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4) is a diagnostic assessment that is designed to help students and their teachers understand how they learn and what their academic potential could be. It assesses how students think in areas that are known to make a difference to learning.
We currently use CAT4 in Grades 11 and 12 to give predictions of potential outcomes in the IBDP. CAT4 profiles:
Inform students, teachers and parents of potential progress and outcomes
Allow students to set goals for the IBDP.
Give teachers information about how students learn best.

MAP® Growth™ measures what students know and informs what they’re ready to learn next. The MAP assessment measures students growth over a period of time, and can be used to track individual students or whole grade levels over time.
We use MAP for students in Grades 2 to 9.
