The University of Oxford’s MBE group focuses on the growth of topological quantum materials, such as topological insulators, Weyl and Dirac semimetals, using two MBEs and three magnetron sputtering systems for WP1. It is based on the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory site, col-located with the UK’s synchrotron facility Diamond Light Source and the STFC/ISIS neutron and muon facility for WP2. UOXF associates to all beneficiaries.
