Tampere University (TAU)

Tampere University (TAU)’s Electrical Engineering unit at the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences is an expert hub of 150 faculty and staff members. Research and education activities at TAU are built on a profound understanding of electrical and electromagnetic phenomena and their modelling and applications. The Laboratory of Future Electronics group mainly focus on development of electronic materials and devices for future generation of Electronics, one main development target in future would be cryogenic electronics for quantum computing. Tampere University (TAU) will be involved in device characterisation down to deep cryogenic temperatures, data analysis and in dissemination activities with all involved participants. For characterisation purpose, TAU’s cryolab facilities will be used to participate scientifically in WP2.
