Koç University (KOC)

Koç University (KOC) brings their expertise on molecular beam epitaxy of 2D materials including topological insulators, magnetic iron garnets, Kagome superconductors and perovskites. The team will lead the growth activities (WP1). KU TR grow, characterise, pattern and package the exploratory QAHE materials (Kagome, BST on magnetic insulator), support JMU/the consortium in the metrological grade V-BST fabrication if needed. KU TR operates molecular beam epitaxy, pulsed laser deposition, sputtering, clean room with electron beam lithography and packaging systems (wire bonding, dicing).
